ABOUT ME

My name is Gracie Gardner and I am a Spanish and International Health Studies student with a Chemistry minor at Clemson University. I am graduating in May of 2023 and I have created this eDossier to not only showcase my skills and experiences, but allow you to get to know me.

At Clemson, I am currently on the pre-medical track and I am looking forward to applying to medical school this coming May. I have always known I wanted to be a doctor. Coming from a long family of doctors, I grew up with an inside perspective of medicine. But it wasn’t my family that drew me into the medical field. Rather, it was the people on the other side of the operating table: the patients.

I am very compassionate and relationship-oriented in nature. I love making connections with people, forming relationships and serving others. I hope to continue serving others through my career, which is why I have chosen the pre-medical track. As a doctor, I hope to use my experience, empathy and problem-solving abilities to help a diverse group of patients. I believe the medical field is not strictly about finding a cure, nor providing immediate relief, but forming relationships that can ultimately change someone’s entire outlook on life.

This site contains samples of my coursework from my time at Clemson as well as other documents that showcase my experiences and values. Thank you for visiting!
